OnePlus 13 Review — Back to the Flagship Killer Mindset
After a few years drifting toward "premium," OnePlus has rediscovered aggressive pricing. The 13 is the result — and it works.
For the last few years, OnePlus's pricing has crept upward. The OnePlus 13 reverses that trend — and the result is the most exciting OnePlus phone since the 7 Pro.

What it's like to live with
OxygenOS 15 is a meaningful improvement over the ColorOS-leaning previous version. Animations are snappier, RAM management has stopped being aggressive about killing background apps, and the icon design is the cleanest it's been in years.
The camera is the surprise. The Hasselblad tuning that felt artificial on the 11 and 12 now lands — colors are saturated but believable, portraits handle complex hair well, and 3× zoom shots are sharp at print sizes.
The catches
No telephoto-macro mode (Samsung still wins there). The 50MP ultrawide is dimmer than the main in low light. And — minor but real — the haptic engine is noticeably weaker than iPhone or Pixel rivals.
Verdict
At $899, the OnePlus 13 is the best Android flagship purely on value. Get it if you want a phone that does almost everything a $1,200 phone does for $300 less.
